With over 26 years of healthcare experience, Shirley Amanfo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her career began in microbiology and toxicology research before transitioning to nursing in 2003 to combine scientific expertise with hands-on patient care. Over the past 22 years, she has worked across diverse settings, including acute care, oncology, case management, hospice, and internal medicine.

As a family nurse practitioner for the past five years, Shirley has focused on bridging gaps in care, particularly in primary care, behavioral health, and hormone optimization. She founded QuCiL Health® to offer accessible, integrative care supporting both physical and mental well-being. She is a REMS-certified provider offering Spravato® (esketamine) therapy for treatment-resistant depression and recognizes the strong connection between hormonal imbalances, mental health, and overall wellness.

Shirley is passionate about preventing and reversing chronic conditions linked to metabolic health, including obesity, PCOS, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
