With over 20 years of diverse nursing experience, Shirley Amanfo is a dedicated family nurse practitioner committed to transforming lives through personalized, patient-centered care. A graduate of Herzing University’s MSN-FNP program, Shirley specializes in internal medicine and serves patients aged seven and up with compassion and expertise.

Shirley is a REMS-certified provider of Spravato® (esketamine), FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) with increased suicidal thoughts. Her passion for mental health stems from her work in behavioral health, where she identified a critical gap in support for men. This inspired her to integrate men’s health into her practice, addressing hormonal imbalances, chronic pain, and conditions linked to depression.

A staunch advocate for weight loss management, Shirley emphasizes that obesity and metabolic syndrome are major contributors to chronic illnesses, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal disorders, and hormonal imbalances. Her tailored, data-driven plans empower patients to achieve sustainable health improvements.
